'83
A movie that will unite the two biggest religions of India - Bollywood & cricket, '83 will tell us the incredible story of India's 1983 cricket world cup victory. Ranveer Singh will play the role of star cricketer Kapil Dev in the movie. The film is being directed by Kabir Khan.
Super30
Based on the life of the genius mathematician Anand Kumar, Super 30 is all about his eponymous education program. Starring Hrithik Roshan, the film was scheduled to release in January but was pushed further following the METOO allegations on its director Vikas Bahl. Now the film is slated to release on 26th July 2019.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior
Ajay Devgn's magnum opus stars Devgn himself in the lead role. The movie is based on the life of Maharashtrian Koli military leader Tanaji Malusare who fought numerous battles alongside Maratha leader Shivaji Maharaj. The film is a joint production of Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Ajay Devgn's Ajay Devgn Ffilms, directed by Om Raut. It is slated to release on 10th January 2020.
Chhapaak
Bollywood's leading lady Deepika Padukone has time and again exhibited her thirst for challenging roles with her diverse choice of films. Giving testimony of the same yet again, Deepika will be seen slipping into the skin of an acid attack survivor Laxmi, for Chhapaak. The film is being directed by Meghna Gulzar and it's slated to release on 10th January 2020.
