5 Punjabi beauties who disappeared from Pollywood!

Pollywood, without a doubt, is not only providing more platforms for performers to highlight their innovation and talent, but it is also providing premium entertainment to the public. People say there's no turning back once you start working in the Punjabi film industry. However, there are a few names who have graced the silver screen but have only appeared in a few films. Although others were distracted by the spotlight, some chose a career in film over a career on the big screen. So here we have listed such beauties of Pollywood who have vanished from the Punjabi Film Industry.

1. Kimi Verma

In 1994, the very glamorous and extremely talented actress Kimi Verma debuted with the Punjabi film 'Naseebo.' Following Naseebo, she appeared in a number of Punjabi films, including Qahar, Shaheed Udham Singh, Jee Aaya Nu, Asa Nu Maan Watna Da, and others, before Ajj De Ranjhe in 2012, which marked her most recent appearance in Punjabi cinema. It's exciting to hear, though, that she'll be back on screen really soon. As she prepares to return with the highly anticipated sequel Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2.

2. Shruti Sodhi

Shruti Sodhi's roles in numerous Punjabi films must have wowed you. Happy Go Lucky, Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar, Mr. and Mrs. 420, and Vaisakhi List are among her credits. About the fact that each of these films was a box office success, Shruti has been absent from Punjabi cinema since 2016. Aside from Punjabi films, she has also appeared in Telugu films, in which she continues to act.

3. Surveen Chawla

Surveen Chawla is an indestructible and lovely part of Punjabi cinema. However, it's disappointing to learn that she hasn't recently been featured in any Punjabi projects. Taur Mittran Di, Saadi Love Story, Singh vs Kaur, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Disco Singh, and Hero Naam Yaad Rakhi are only a few of the exciting Punjabi films she has appeared in. We believe that every one of us is hoping for her to make a successful comeback in the Punjabi industry shortly.

4. Simran Kaur Mundi

Simran Kaur Mundi, the 2008 Miss India Universe, began her career in Pollywood in 2013 with the Gippy Grewal starrer 'Best Of Luck.' In 2014, she starred in another fantastic film, 'Mundeyan To Bachke Rahin', for which she was nominated for a Best Actress Award. However, after starring in 'Mundeyan To Bachke Rahin,' the actress disappeared from the screen. Maybe she was too preoccupied with her many Bollywood designs.

5. Minissha Lamba

Minissha Lamba was another stunning actress who disappeared from Pollywood after a few films. The actress made her acting debut in 2012 with the film 'Heer & Hero' and was most recently seen in 'Double The Trouble.' Both films were comedies, and both grossed a lot of money at the box office. Minissha continues to star in guest roles on numerous tv programs, but she has yet to act in a full-length movie.
